COURAGE

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9

Courage does not mean that we never feel afraid. It means trusting that fear does not have the final word. God calls us to move forward with confidence—not because the path will always be easy, but because we do not walk it alone.

As you journey through these reflections, scriptures, and moments of music, bring to God the places where you feel uncertain, hesitant, or overwhelmed. May these devotions remind you that courage often begins with one faithful step, taken in the assurance that God is already beside you.

Today’s Invitation

Before you continue with your day, think of one situation that requires courage. You don’t need to solve it all today. Simply name it before God, and ask for the strength to take the next faithful step. Let today’s Scripture remain in your heart:

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

“What makes a king out of a slave? Courage!
What makes the flag on the mast to wave? Courage!
What makes the Sphinx the Seventh Wonder? Courage!
What makes the dawn come up like thunder? Courage!”
The Cowardly Lion, The Wizard of Oz
